An Army officer at the UK’s biggest base in Afghanistan has hit on  a novel way of getting around more suited to the big top than a battlezone.

Combat logistician Capt Titus Jordon tucked his dad’s unicycle into his rucksack before heading for Helmand.

He uses the circus machine to pedal along dusty gravel tracks of Camp Bastion more used to heavy cialis trucks and four-by-fours.

He explained how single-track minds run in his family.

“When I was twelve,  my dad was going through a bit of a mid life crisis and bought a unicycle.”

“I thought, anything he can do….getting out to Bastion was a bit difficult.  I had to strip it down and strap the wheel to my Bergen.”

“It’s not too bad on the road.  It’s not really a rough-terrain vehicle, so I haven’t done anything off road – that’s for the next few months.”

As well as providing plenty of entertainment, his mount which has viagra china neither brakes nor gears is the perfect low maintenance transport for desert conditions.
